Spring is Here

It's been like a month, I know. I got busy. And maybe a little lazy. Here's an outfit to welcome spring!

And because I left you hanging last time, here are the red pants in action!

Red Pants

I got a package in the mail today:

Red pants. I've been keeping my eye on them for months and was able to snag them from Gap the other day for around $12. I really wanted to post an outfit with them but the camera battery is dead so this will have to suffice for a bit. These are gonna be a little tricky to wear because they are REALLY bright. And I mean really. This picture does not show them at their full brightness. But I couldn't resist them. So I guess now I have the challenge of finding out how many ways I can remix them! I can't wait.

Back Again/ Done!/ Imaginary Outfit 1

I finished the 30 for 30! I know I didn't get the last few outfits up, I just got really busy toward the end and couldn't find time. It's a shame cause I had some good ones at the end. But, never fear! I have more to share.

I will still post outfit pictures when I come up with a good one (I won't bore you with jeans and a tee shirt). But until then, here's my imaginary outfit for the day:

It has rained like crazy all weekend. It's a sign of spring and I can't wait for it to be sunny and warm!

Day 20/10 Days Left!

10 more days in the 30 for 30! When it's done I'll still post outfit pictures (not necessarily everyday) and I'll start introducing some new segments and features. One of which will be featuring some of my different friends and their unique styles. I'm excited.

I hope to make these last 10 the best outfits yet.

Excellent Day

Today was an excellent day of sleeping in, warm weather, and shopping. It was really windy again and Andrew decided to take photos non-stop as soon as we went out. He got some very paparazzi-looking shots as I was getting something out of my car. here's my favorite:

 All I need are some sunglasses and a designer bag. Haha.

I'm past the halfway point for the 30 for 30 but it's definitely getting harder. I find myself missing my other clothes. A lot.

It's Late Again/Spring Please Stay!

I didn't get around to posting on Thursday because I was so distracted by the amazing weather. I opened all the windows in my apartment and got some much needed fresh air in there. But the weather definitely threw a wrench in my 30 picks. I sort of cheated a little. I just HAD to set my feet free after this cold, cold winter. So I wore sandals, But the rest of the items were from the 30.

Thrift Store Favorite/Day 16

I got this sweater at my favorite thrift store for a couple of bucks early in the winter. I've loved it ever since. It's super comfy and has great colors.

It was warm again today and I LOVED that I didn't have to wear a coat.

Exciting Things/Breezy

I'm so excited about spring this year. And some new ideas I have for the blog. (After all, it won't only be about the 30 for 30) It was nice and warm again today but a little breezy. So I brought out the tights again. My legs are ready for sun! No more tights.

Valentine's Day/Spring?

Um, wow! The weather today was so warm. I have to admit, I cheated a bit during the second half of the day. I changed into a tank and sandals. It was just so warm and my 30 items are winter ones. But this is what I wore to work:

Game Night/Day 12

Tonight we had a fun game night with some of our soon-to-be-married friends. A night of candies, beer, and Farkle.

Casual Friday/Ready for the Weekend

I'm really looking forward to spring fashion this year. It's not so different from spring fashion last year but I'm moving in a more vintage inspired direction. So maybe I'm really looking forward to my spring fashion. But alas, it is not spring yet. Here's what I wore today:

Simple Day/Red Sneakers

It was SO windy today. I could only work up enough courage to go right outside my apartment door to take these pictures.

I went for a simple outfit today. And I love my red sneakers.

Friends/Laughs

I wore the headscarf again. I adore it. Today was a great day with girlfriends, wedding planning and my bridesmaid dress arriving from ModCloth.

Feels Like Spring/Office Attire

It was warm today. It made me smile. It was a long day at work. Not a boring one by any means. I love my job. Its just that on Mondays I work morning and evening. The rest of the week I only work one or the other. So, Mondays are generally about something work appropriate and fit for a longer day.

I like to be comfy on Sundays. This is what I wore to church. I changed into jeans when I got home but they were still part of the 30 so I didn't cheat.

Who says you can't wear brown black and grey all together?? Today was bleak. And I felt like blending in.
